Organization that bring together all the nations of the Western Hemisphere.
CIA
Provides extensive data on Latin American countries that detail population, literacy,
economics, geography, and climate. Each country includes a fairly detailed
map.
LANIC
Latin American Network Resource Center at University of Texas at Austin has perhaps
the most comprehensive database for Latin America. An excellent resource for
research in any field.
Etown's Virtual Library
Virtual library on international affairs. It is an excellent resource for general
study in Latin America.
Resources for Teaching About
the Americas, University of New Mexico
Great resources for primary and secondary teachers who are interested in developing
lessons plans and units on the Latin America and Caribbean. It includes many
sample lesson plans as well as links to other resources for teachers.
