Give a Little, Get a Latté - A Campaign for the Albright Campus Community
Those of us who work here know, Albright is a wonderful place to learn and work! If you gave to The Fund for Albright last year, please make your gift an annual tradition. If not, join many of your colleagues by starting a tradition of giving to Albright each year, even a gift as small as the cost of a cup of coffee.
Your gift to The Fund for Albright sends a powerful message to potential donors, corporations, foundations and our nearly 17,000 alumni. Your support demonstrates that the faculty, staff and administration don't just work here, we truly believe in Albright! We believe in Albright's educational mission to inspire and educate the scholar and leader in each student.
Gifts to The Fund touch the lives of students and employees every day. These crucial unrestricted dollars support employee salaries, scholarships, athletics, faculty and student research, Experience events, artistic opportunities, technology upgrades, expanded library resources and so much more!
Every employee donor to The Fund for Albright in fiscal year 2007-08 will receive a free coffee tumbler and one free fill-up of a hot beverage at Jake's Java. The fiscal year ends May 31, 2008. Thanks a latté!
Payroll Deduction
Payroll deduction is an easy, tax-deductible way to show your support for Albright. Click on this 2007-08 payroll deduction form. You can designate your gift to The Fund to a specific area or project, such as the renovations to the Campus Center lobby.

Who is the campus family?
The Albright campus family consists of the College's 650 dedicated full-time and part-time employees-faculty, staff and administration.

What is the Campus Family Campaign?
It is an opportunity for all members of the campus community to become part of Crossing Boundaries: The Campaign for Albright. Our teamwork will show our external constituents-alumni, parents, friends, corporations and foundations-that those of us who work here support Albright and our next 150 years!

Why do you need my help?
Not all employees realize that Albright College is a non-profit organization. Every dollar counts in helping to maintain our day-to-day operations. Gifts to The Fund for Albright directly impact the operating budget by providing revenue for the items we use every day-including our salaries, electricity and even toilet paper!
Most importantly, The Fund for Albright enhances the educational opportunities we offer our students. Gifts to The Fund support scholarships, clubs, athletics, student research, art, music and theatre, lectures and cultural events, computer labs and so much more!
When we raise funds to support Albright, our College is stronger. This leads to a more enjoyable place to work for all of us!
Our participation sends a powerful message to alumni, parents, friends, corporations and foundations. It is important to demonstrate our support here on campus before we ask others to do the same.

Can I designate where my gift will go?
Of course! Donors may choose how their gifts are utilized. However, the College's most crucial need is unrestricted support. As financial variables change from year to year, unrestricted support can be used where it is most helpful.
If you'd like, you may designate your gift to the area of your choice. This includes such projects as the Campus Center renovations, a department on campus, or even an athletics team. It's up to you!

What is the time frame of the Campus Family Campaign?
The official kickoff is August 1, 2007. However, you may contribute any time during the fiscal year, which runs from June 1, 2007 through May 31, 2008. The Campus Family Campaign will end on May 31, and the results will be announced during the summer.

What is the goal of the Campus Family Campaign?
The goal is 100 percent participation by Albright's 650 employees. Contributions of any size are vitally important in order to raise funds and demonstrate our internal strength. Let's work together to show our Albright pride!

How can I make my gift?
Outright gifts of cash

Non-cash gifts - such as appreciated securities, fully paid life insurance policies, or real estate

How will I be solicited?
You may receive a letter, a phone call or a personal visit. In order to maintain confidentiality, donors may return their competed pledge cards directly to the Advancement Office.
At the conclusion of the Campus Family Campaign, the College's annual report will recognize all donors for the fiscal year.

How much should I give?
The choice to give and the amount to give are both very personal decisions. Gifts of all sizes are vitally important and deeply appreciated. Each year, gifts range from $1 to more than $5,000. We sincerely hope you will participate at the level most comfortable for you.
