THREEPENNY OPERA
by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill
February 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28at 8pm
February 22 at 2:30pm
"First you must feed us, then talk right and wrong!" Welcome to the deliciously sinister world of cutthroat gangster Mack the Knife. Brecht's ingeniuous satire on bourgeois society proes the inhumanity of man against a seductive, jazz-infused musical score by Kurt Weill. Set in Victorian London, but as fresh today as when it was first performed in Berlin in 1928, this epic "opera for beggars" is sure to titillate and provoke our seasoned audiences. For Mature Audiences Only
