Wiliam Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost

BIOS Billy Balmer (Biron) is a junior theatre concentrator. He was last seen on the Albright stage as Brian in You Are Here. He has also played Pozzo in Waiting for Godot and the title role in The Mikado. He would like to thanks Julia Matthews, Jeff Lentz, Cocol Bernal, and his parents. Audrey Biser (Rosaline) is a junior theatre and history concentrator. She most recently appeared in You Are Here and has been involved in many productions during her career at Albright. Audrey is excited to be taking part in Love’s Labour’s Lost. David Darrow (Don Armado) is a senior theatre major and a proud member of the Domino Players. He is thrilled to be working on Love’s Labour’s Lost with such a devoted cast and crew. Many thanks to his family, Julia, Jeff, Wayne and Paula. Andrew Dell (King of Navarre) is an ’07 graduate of Albright. Since his graduation, Andrew has made non-appearances at the Wyomissing Institute of the Arts, stage managing The Elves and the Shoemaker and the world premiere of Vision Disturbance. He is glad to be welcomed back on Albright’s stage for the first time since Forbidden: Advent and The Mikado. Jilian Duffy (Jaquenetta) is a freshman who recently made her debut in the world premiere of You Are Here as Marie. Jilian is studying fashion and hopes to make her career in New York City. She thanks her family and friends for all their support. Ryan Eggleston (Sir Nathaniel) is a senior appearing in his ninth Domino Players production. He would like to thank the cast and crew for all their hard work and his parents for their love and support. Tom Ellis (Dumaine) is enjoying his fourth play with the Domino Players, and his first experience acting in Shakespeare. He was last seen as James in the world premiere of You Are Here. Other roles include an ensemble role in A Clockwork Orange and Death in Hydriotaphia. He would like to thanks his family, friends, and colleagues for all their love and support. George Ross Fisher V (Longaville) is a senior communications major. He is grateful for the chance to tackle the master Shakespeare, and to be in love as well! “Albright theatre has changed my life!” Justin J. Fitzpatrick (Forester/Mercade/Musician) is ecstatic to take part in his first Shakespeare play. Previously he has been in productions such as: High School Musical (Mongo), Footloose (Garvin), The Secret Garden (Lt. Wright), The Sound of Music (Rolf), Seussical: The Musical (Horton the Elephant), and You Are Here (Jimmie). André Forbes-Ezeugwu (Costard) has appeared in two Domino Players productions: The Mikado, as an interesting nobleman, and Fences, as Troy, a close-minded father. This being his third production, all he can say is thank you to everyone that has brought him to this point in his career. Larissa “Lacey” Gonder (Holofernes) is a junior in her seventh Domino Players production. A theatre and communications major, her favorite roles include Schoolgirl/Ninja in The Mikado, May Fly in Nine L’Ives, and Alex’s Mother/Old Lady in A Clockwork Orange. Lacey also participates in the Thespian Society (E-Board), Concert Choir, Women’s Chorale, Jacob Albright Scholars, and the Honors Program. Thanks to Julia, Audrey, Prince Charming, and Matt for their support and friendship! Jocelyn C. Hambrook (Asst. Stage Manager) previously assistant stage-managed for Nine L’Ives, and she is extremely excited to be working backstage again. Jocelyn is a sophomore theatre and communications co-concentrator. She thanks everyone she worked with and hopes everyone enjoys the show. Tiffany Hernandez (Costume Shop Manager) has worked on three previous Domino Players productions, on stage for Nine L’Ives and as a dresser for Hydriotaphia and Fences. She is excited to be a part of Love’s Labour’s Lost. On campus Tiffany also serves as secretary for SHADOW. She thanks her family and friends for their support and the cast and crew for being a part of this fabulous production. Ryan Krause (Line/Verse Assistant) is a psychology and English co-concentrator. He is an avid lover of Shakespeare, whimsical student of wit, and connoisseur of verse. A writer of his own sonnets, this thespian surfaced as a member of the Bedford County Shakespearean Troupe in high school, taking such roles as King Alonso in The Tempest, Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew, Macbeth in the play of the same name. Love's Labor's Lost marks Ryan's first involvement in a Shakespearean production in 3 years, albeit behind the curtain. Julia Matthews (Director) is associate professor and chair of theatre at Albright. Her most recent productions with the Domino Players are Fences, Top Girls, and Proof. A Shakespearean at heart, she has also directed, performed, or provided dramaturgy for eighteen of the Bard’s plays, and co-authored an actor’s guide to the repertoire. Cheers to a truly lovable cast and crew, hugs to family, and warm welcomes to Matt Kopans and Lisi Stoessel, great additions to the Domino Players team. Ryan McCarthy (Dull) is a freshman. He has been acting since the beginning of high school and has taken part in several musicals. He his extremely thrilled to be working with the Albright College Theater Company. His main inspiration in the world of theatre is Heath Ledger. Colleen McGuire (Moth) is a senior theatre and psychology major. She has previously been seen on the Domino Players stage in You Are Here, Hydriotaphia, and Nine L’Ives. “Thanks to God, Julia, Aubrey, family and friends.” Lauren Murray (The Princess of France) is a junior theatre and fashion major. She was last seen as Kate Donahue in You Are Here and as Doña Estrellita in Hydriotaphia. Thanks to Mom, Dad, Julia, cast and crew. Enjoy the show! Bill Neitz (Asst. Stage Manager) is a sophomore happy to be working behind the scenes for Love’s Labour’s Lost. Previously, he has operated lights for Fences, and acted in Nine L’Ives, A Clockwork Orange, and You Are Here. Much love to Mom, Dad, Kristin, Italo, KB, and God for all their support. John Pankratz (Boyet), Professor of History, has been a Domino Player since 1990, appearing in fourteen productions, including Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Art, Prof, and Much Ado About Nothing. He is the Dominos’ official photographer, and is married to the amazing scenic designer and playwright Cocol Bernal. Gina Sarno (Maria) has been performing since she was nine, and loves it. Now a sophomore, Gina made her Albright debut last year in The Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage for Nine L’Ives. Loves it. Thanks guys. MJCADVKSSLAC. Lisi Stoessel (Guest Artist -- Scenic Designer) is a Philadelphia-based artist/designer, and has had a great time working with the folks at Albright. She holds her MFA in Scene Design from the University of Virginia. Past design credits include Dante Dies!! (and then things get weird) (Sideshow Theatre Co., Chicago), The Voysey Inheritance, Hedda Gabler, Hair, Iphigenia and Other Daughters, Scapin, Mud (UVA Drama), and Associate Set Design/Makeup Design for Isabella (Pig Iron Theatre Co., Philadelphia Live Arts Festival). Cody Streeter (Stage Manager) is a sophomore at Albright College and is thrilled to be working with Julia, Wayne, Paula, and Lisi, stagemanaging her second show. She would like to thank the cast and crew for their tremendous efforts, hard work, and determination to making Love’s Labour’s Lost a truly successful production. Paula Trimpey (Costume Designer) serves as assistant professor of theatre and fashion design at Albright College. She received her M.F.A. from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, where she was a member of the Hilberry Theatre Company. Paula has designed costumes and served as costume director for the Tuacahn Fine and Performing Arts Center in southern Utah. She has also worked with touring Broadway shows through Troika Entertainment. In addition, for 18 years she held various positions and designed shows for the Utah Shakespearean Festival, which won a Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre in 2000. Robin Vacek (Katherine) is a sophomore theatre and art history major. She was previously seen as Marty/Nurse in A Clockwork Orange, and has been an assistant director on several other productions. She would like to thank her M.I.L., her F.I.L., and once again, her Droogies. CHUGA Chuga CHUGA Chuga Choo! Choo! Wayne E. Vettleson (Lighting Designer/Technical Director) Wayne has been the resident Lighting Designer/Technical Director for the Domino Players for the past twenty years. He completed his graduate work at Syracuse University just before arriving at Albright in 1988. His wife, Pam, was the 16th student in Albright history to receive a 4.0 GPA. Wayne also designs for Ephrata Performing Arts Center and is a member of Local #97 of I.A.T.S.E. David Wellman (Sound Designer) has been involved with audio for eight years, and is an aspiring sound engineer in the music industry. He has always been an avid Shakespeare fan and enjoys the comedic language. He is also anxious about completing his first solo album as a part of his senior thesis project. |
