At Albright College, students do not earn a degree in education. Students complete a co-concentration in a liberal arts subject area and certification courses. Candidates for the special education certificate have two degree options:
Option One - Full concentration with certification:
Completion of full concentration for degree with addition of courses required for certification.

for the Certification in Special Education. In order to comply with NCLB legislation requirements for preparation of highly qualified teachers, Albright only offers a combined elementary education/special education certificate program.
