Classical Languages
Students can use Greek and Latin courses to meet the general studies foreign language requirement. Courses at the 202-level and above also can be used to fulfill the general studies literature requirement.
Greek Courses
The courses in Greek are arranged to meet the needs of two groups of students: For those who wish to gain a first-hand knowledge of the rich contribution the Greeks made to our modern civilization, two years of study in Classical Greek are offered. For those preparing to enter the Christian ministry, additional study in Koiné Greek, the Greek of the Hellenistic Period, and the Greek of the New Testament are offered.
