Albright College - Clubs and Organizations

Description: Xion Step Team is an organization that uses stepping as a way to enhance Albright’s cultural community by entertaining and teaching, as well as bonding among members. The members choreograph all of the material. We specialize in stepping and hip hop and r&b dances. Step/dance practices occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-10pm in the Racquetball room and Sundays from 7-9pm in the fitness room.

Typical semester/special events/trips/programs:

Each semester Xion hosts a step show, which displays the steps/dances that the team has been working on all semester. There is a party after the show that allows Albright Students and other colleges students from surrounding schools to socialize and mingle. Xion also hosts an early fall semester party as a welcome back social event. Community service is also an important. Xion is affiliated with the Police Athletic League and the Habitat for Humanity.
