Janice Luck Named Russell Athletic/WBCA Regional Coach of the Year

Reading, PA - Albright women's basketball head coach Janice Luck has been honored as the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Mid-Atlantic Region Division III Coach of the Year. Coach Luck guided the Lady Lions to a school record 20 wins and their first ever trip to the NCAA Tournament this season. Under her guidance Albright has set a school record for wins in a seaon in each of the past three years, winning 14 games in 2005-06 and 18 games last winter before notching the first 20 win season in school history this year.

WBCA Regional Coaches of the Year are selected by a vote of all coaches within their geographical region. Coach Luck will now advance to the national level of the election process along with the other seven regional Coaches of the Year.
