Alex Keyes Named to the Commonwealth Conference All-Conference First-Team 
Stevie Crouse and Tara McMurtie earn Second-Team Honors

Reading, PA - Junior Alex Keyes (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) was named to the Commonwealth Conference All-Conference First-Team on Monday. Seniors Stevie Crouse (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) and Tara McMurtrie (Telford, PA/Lansdale Catholic) were named to the All-Conference Second-Team.

Keyes was named to the All-Conference First-Team as a designated player after putting together one of the best offensive seasons in Albright history.  Keyes led the Commonwealth Conference in home runs with nine, triples with five, total bases with 82, and slugging percentage at .745.  She was second in the conference with 34 RBI's, and ranked in the top five in batting average and on base percentage.  Keyes set new Albright single-season record for home runs, slugging percentage, total bases, and extra base hits, and became Albright's all-time home run leader with 19.  Keyes was named to the All-Conference Second-Team as a sophomore.

Crouse, who split time this season between shortstop and catching, earned her third-consecutive All-Conference Second-Team nod as she concluded her standout career. Crouse hit .319, led the team with 29 runs scored, seven stolen bases, and 10 doubles.  She was tied for second in the conference with three triples, tied for third in the conference in doubles, and fourth in the conference in runs scored.  Crouse finishes her career as Albright's all-time leader in runs scored with 104 and doubles with 26, and second on the school's all-time hits list with 152.   

McMurtire earned her first All-Conference nod after hitting a career-best .307 with two home runs and 11 runs batted in.  She had an on base percentage of .390, and also stole four bases for the Lady Lions.
