Emily Hutchinson got one goal back for the Lady Lions with just over 10 minutes left in the contest, scoring her first goal of the season off an assist from Lindsay Neal. That would be as close as Albright would get, however, as FDU tacked on two more goals in the final 10 minutes of play for the 6-1 win. The Devils finished the game with 27 shots to five for Albright. Lady Lion goalkeeper Min Hee Lee had 14 saves in goal.
October 23, 2007: Lebanon Valley 5, Albright 1
Reading, PA - Albright gave third-ranked Lebanon Valley all it could handle for 35 minutes Tuesday afternoon, but the Dutchmen scored four times in the second half to take a 5-1 win over the Lady Lions in Shirk Stadium. Lebanon Valley is now 17-0 in 2007 and 3-0 in conference play, while Albright falls to 7-10, 0-4.
LVC jumped on the Lady Lions early, getting a goal from Mimi Sullivan just two and a half minutes in to take a 1-0 lead. The Dutchmen kept the pressure on Albright, but the Lady Lion defense, led by senior goalkeeper Min Hee Lee, was outstanding, keeping the LVC from increasing its lead. Lee was outstanding in goal, coming up with big saves all afternoon. With 8:15 remaining in the half Albright scored the equalizer, as Jen Martyn found the back of the net off an assist from Lindsay Neal. That would be the final goal of the half, as the teams headed to the break knotted at one.
Lebanon Valley kept up their pressure in the second half, and broke the tie in the 44th minute on a goal from Alex Wolfe. Just 24 seconds later Sullivan scored again to give LVC a 3-1 lead.
