2007 Albright College Women's Cross County Results

November 10, 2007: NCAA Regional Meet

Lehigh, PA - Senior Becca White closed out her cross-country career in style on Saturday, leading Albright at the NCAA Regional meet on the campus of Lehigh University. White completed the 6k course in 23:56, good for 82nd place out of 247 runners in the race. Fellow senior Jo Jo Ward was next for the Lady Lions, placing 114th in 24:35. Freshman Gabby Stine finished 154th in 25:15, and sophomore Tarah Kelley was 195th in 26:27. Ehrin Kelley rounded out the top five for Albright, placing 211th in 27:08. The Lady Lions placed 29th as a team out of 37 schools competing.

October 27, 2007: MAC Championship Meet

Doylestown, PA - Seniors Jo Jo Ward and Becca White earned Second-Team All-Conference honors at the MAC Championship Meet Saturday morning at Delaware Valley College. Running in a sometimes driving rain, Ward completed the muddy 6k course in 25:50.02 to finish in 14th position. White was just over two seconds behind Ward, posting a time of 25:52.33 to place 15th. The two seniors led Albright to a fifth place team finish out of 11 teams. Freshman Gabby Stine had a strong showing for the Lady Lions, finishing in a time of 26:42.86 to place 32nd. Freshman Michelle Reinhart was next for Albright, finishing 47th in 28:10.30. Sophomore Tarah Kelley completed the top five finishers for Albright, crossing the finish line in 28:26.23 for 51st place.

October 13, 2007: DeSales Invitational

Center Valley, PA - Albright competed in the DeSales Invitational Meet Saturday morning, placing 11th out of 23 schools. Senior Becca White was the first Lady Lion runner to cross the finish line, covering the 6k course in a time of 25:26.72 to place 28th in a field of 203 competitors. Senior Jo Jo Ward was next for Albright, completing the course in 26:02.75 to finish 43rd. Freshman Gabby Stine finished in 27:24.70 to place 77th, and junior Melony Alcorn was 87th in 27:45.68. Sophomore Tarah Kelley rounded out the top five for Albright by placing 104th with a time of 28:21.16.

October 6, 2007: Albright Homecoming Invitational

Reading, PA - Seniors Jo Jo Ward and Becca White and freshman Gaby Stine finshed 1-2-3 to lead Albright to victory in the Albright Homecoming Invitational Saturday morning at the Berks County Youth Recreational Facility. Ward completed the 6k race in a time of 25:28.2 to capture her second consecutive Albright Invitational title. White placed second with a time of 25:46.7, and Stine took third in 26:17.5 to complete the Lady Lion trifecta at the head of the field. Freshman Michelle Reinhart finished ninth for Albright with a time of 28:33, and junior Melony Alcorn completed the top five for Albright with a 10th place finish in a time of 28:43.8

Albright easily won the team competition, topping Lincoln and Penn State Berks.

September 28, 2007: Brooks Paul Short Run

Lehigh, PA - Seniors Becca White and Jo Jo Ward lead Albright at the Brooks Paul Short Run Friday afternoon non the campus of Lehigh University. White finished 75 th out of over 250 runners, covering the 6k course in 24:45. Ward was right on her heels, placing 76 th in 24:46. Freshman Michelle Reinhart was the next runner to finish for Albright, placing 186 th with a time of 27:30. Sophomore Ehrin Kelley placed 195 th in 28:02 and junior Melony Alcorn was 207 th in 29:55 to round out the top five for the Lady Lions. Albright was 30 th in the team competition.

September 22, 2007: York Invitational

York, PA - Albright turned in a strong performance Saturday morning in the York College Invitational, finishing second out of eight teams in the field. The Lady Lions were led by senior Becca White, who crossed the finish line in second place with a time of 20:14.86 for the 5k course. Senior Jo Jo Ward also picked up a top-10 finish, coming home in seventh place with a time of 20:57.22. Freshman Gabby Stine was the next Lady Lion runner to cross the finish line, placing 12th in 21:28.75. Freshman Michelle Reinhart finished 21st in a time of 22:43.50, and junior Tomesha Campbell was 33rd in 24:06.50 to round out the top five runners for the Lady Lions.

September 15, 2007: Baptist Bible Invitational

Scranton, PA - Senior Becca White and the Albright Lady Lions turned in another strong performance Saturday morning at the Baptist Bible Invitational. White finished fourth out of 97 runners, completing the 5k race in a time of 20:31.30. Her effort led Albright to a fourth place finish out of 12 teams in the Invitational. Sophomore Tarah Kelley was the second Albright runner to finish, placing 20th with a time of 22:43.61. Freshman Gabby Stine was right on Kelley's heels, finishing 21st in 22:46.14. Freshman Michelle Reinhart placed 30th in 23:14.04, and sophomore Ehrin Kelley rounded out the top five for Albright by finishing 42nd in 23:46.01.

September 8, 2007: Maroon and Gold Classic

Kutztown, PA - Senior Becca White had an outstanding showing on Saturday, placing 10th at the Maroon and Gold Fall Classic on the campus of Kutztown University. The Lady Lions were the only Division III team among the five in the field, and led by White, finished fourth out of five teams in the meet. White completed the 6k run in 26:21.74. Senior Jo Jo Ward was next for Albright, finishing in 28:14.00 to place 18th. Freshman Gabby Stine finished 27th in 28:57.18, followed by fellow freshman Michelle Reinhart in 32nd place with a time of 30:09.76. Sophomore Tarah Kelley completed the top five for Albright, finishing in a time of 30:26.66 for 35th place.

September 1, 2007: Delaware Valley Invitational

Doylestown, PA - Senior Becca White led Albright to a sixth-place finish out of 15 teams at the season-opening Delaware Valley Invitational Saturday morning. White turned in a time of 25:54.07 over the 6k course to place 11th in the competition. Fellow senior Jo Jo Ward followed White, coming in in 22nd position with a time of 26:55.32. Freshman Gabby Stine was next for Albright, placing 44th in 28:06.72. The Kelley sisters rounded out the top five for the Lady Lions, with Tarah placing 58th in 28:33.68 and Ehrin finishing 71st in 29:31.91.
