Head Field Hockey Coach Michelle Hahn
Michelle Hahn took over the head coaching duties for the Albright field hockey team in 2005 after serving as an assistant coach for the Lady Lions in 2004.
Coach Hahn graduated from Daniel Boone High School, where she was a four-year standout in both field hockey and basketball. She was named the school's female Athlete of the Year as a senior, when she earned All-Berks County and All-Division honors in hockey. In 1998 Hahn played on the bronze-medal U.S. Junior Olympic squad, as well as participating in the Keystone State Games and the Elite Futures Program.
Hahn contiued her education and field hockey career at East Stroudsburg University, where she excelled both in the classroom and on the field. In her four years at East Stroudsburg, Hahn twice led the Warriors in scoring and in her senior season helped lead the team to the NCAA Division II finals. She was honored as an Academic All-American three times as well as being honored by East Stroudsburg as an Outstanding Scholar-Athlete. She graduated cum laude from East Stroudsburg in 2002 with a degree in sports management.
In addition to her coaching at Albright, Hahn still actively competes at the club level, and is also a PIAA certified referee. She is also a member of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. Hahn also works in the Development Office at Albright, where she is the Director of the Fund for Albright.
