HEAD COACH JEFF FEILER Jeff Feiler enters his 11th season at the helm of the Albright College Baseball team in 2009. Feiler who took over as head coach in 1999 after serving as the Assistant Coach for one season, has helped the program grow and develop throughout the years. In 2008 Feiler guided his team to an overall record of 16 wins with 18 losses and a place in the Commonwealth Tournament. For his outstanding efforts throughout the season Feiler was named Commonwealth Conference Coach of the Year by his peers.
A 1992 graduate of Wake Forest University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Sport Science, Feiler was a three time letter winner as a pitcher. In his seniore year, Feiler was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Academic Honor Roll. In 2003 Feiler led the the Lions to a share of the Commonwealth Conference regular season championship and their first post-season games in five years. He was named conference Co-Coach of the Year after the season. In the fall of 2004 Feiler was inducted into the Conestoga Valley High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
Prior to coming to Albright, Feiler spent one year as an Assistant Coach at his high school alma mater, Conestoga Valley in Lancaster, PA, and one year as the pitching coach at Mount Tabor High School in Winston-Salem, NC.
In addition to his duties as head coach, Feiler serves as the Equipment Manager and Assistant Athletic Director at Albright College. He lives in West Lawn with his wife Teresa and children Ashley and Adam. |
