Did You Know...

  • Albright’s Freedman Gallery brings regionally and nationally known contemporary artists and their work to campus.
  • Jeffrey Lentz, ’85, professor of Theatre and Music, received a Grammy nomination in 2003 for Best Opera Recording for Ed Thomas' Desire Under the Elms.
  • Digital Media’s state-of-the-art facilities include two MAC G5 labs, an on-campus TV station, and accessibility to X serve. Such opportunities assist students in creating a professional portfolio prior to graduation.
  • Fashion students are helped and encouraged to have an internship during their career. These internships have included the Gap, Donna Karan, Boscov’s, and Disney World.
  • Albright’s Domino Players Theatre Company regularly participates and wins awards at regional and national festivals, including the Kennedy Center’s American College Theatre Festival.
  • The Center for the Arts has well-equipped practice rooms, an electronic music lab and a recording studio for students interested in computerized music.
  • Talent Awards in Art, Music, Theatre, and Journalism ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 per year are available. These renewable awards are based on a competitive portfolio review process (although one does not need to submit a portfolio for admission to particular program).
