Intended Major or Career:

June A. Roedel Healthcare Scholarship
The Community General Hospital Foundation established this fund with the guidance of the late civic leader June A. Roedel. Scholarships are awarded to Berks County residents who plan to undertake or further careers in healthcare. Application deadline is April 1. Berks County Medical Society Alliance, Inc.
The Alliance offers assistance to students with financial need who are preparing for a career in the health field. The Albright College Financial Aid Office maintains a supply of applications for this scholarship.

The Reading-Berks Association of Realtors Scholarship Fund

Carpenter Technology Retired Employees Scholarship Fund

Sweet Street Desserts Scholarship

Living in Public Housing:

PA Association of Housing and Redevelopment Agency (PAHRA)
The PAHRA offers a scholarship to residents in public housing, Section 8 Programs or a redevelopment area. The Albright College Financial Aid Office maintains a supply of applications for this scholarship.

Stokes Stitt Scholarship
The Reading Housing Authority (RHA) offers this scholarship to students who reside in the Oakbrook and Glenside Homes public housing units owned and operated by RHA. The Albright College Financial Aid Office maintains a supply of applications for this scholarship.

Hispanic Center Scholarship Fund
This fund provides scholarships to academically talented Latinos in Berks County who are pursuing post-secondary education to attend an institution of higher learning in Pennsylvania. Application deadline is March 1. To learn more, please visit www.bccf.org or call 610.685.2223.

Helen M. Clymer Scholarship Fund
Established in memory of Helen M. Clymer, this scholarship is for single mothers from Berks County who seek post-secondary education at a Berks County school. Application deadline is April 1. To learn more, please visit www.bccf.org or call 610.685.2223.

Jim Haldeman Berks County 4-H Scholarship Fund
This fund is named in memory of Jim Haldeman, a Berks County agricultural agent, Bern Township supervisor and county extension director. Scholarships are awarded to high-school seniors who are members in good standing of a Berks County 4-H Club and who will pursue post-secondary education. Application deadline is April 1.
