Freshman Applicants

  1. Complete the online application form, then click the "Submit" button at the end to send it to Albright College. Note: We suggest you print a copy of your completed form before you send it and retain it for your records.
  2. Additional application materials (teacher's recommendations, etc.) are required to complete your application. Some of these items cannot be completed online. After you complete the online portion of the application, please see below for downloadable versions of these forms.
  3. Mail the following additional application materials -- either separately or together -- to:

We must receive all of the following in order for your application to be complete

  • Either a recently graded paper or essay
    as an example of your writing ability.If you choose to write an essay, you may either mail a hard copy to the address above along with your other mailed items, or e-mail your electronic file as an attachment to admission@alb.edu. Please make sure you include your name, address and phone number in the e-mail so we know who the essay belongs to.

    Please note: Microsoft Word or plain text are the only acceptable formats for electronically submitted essays.

    You may write your essay on a topic of your choice - or - on one of the options listed below:
    • Evaluate a significant experience or achievement that has special meaning to you
    • By now, you should be aware that Albright offers a January Interim program. If you could spend more than one Interim working on a project in any part of the world, where would you go and what type of project would you pursue?
    • Indicate a person who has had a significant influence on you, and describe that influence.
  • The Secondary School Report Form,
    completed by your guidance counselor, which is found in either the Albright College Application or the Common Application. In addition to statistical information, counselors are encouraged to complete the comments section of the form and\or attach a written recommendation. An up-to-date transcript including your grades for years 9, 10, and 11 as well as a listing of 12th year courses in progress should be attached to the Secondary School Report form.

  • Either the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT).
    Students may report their junior and\or senior year test scores by requesting that a copy be sent directly to Albright from the Educational Testing Service (ETS) or by submitting an official high school transcript which includes the SAT or ACT results. Our CEEB number for both testing services is 2004.

Note: Albright does not require achievement test scores for admission purposes; however, achievement test results may be submitted to the College for placement or credit evaluation.


Transfer Applicants

Students who apply as transfer applicants to Albright must submit:

  • Application and application essay

  • A letter of recommendation
