Oops...I did it
My bad, folks, I forgot to post the video last time. Here it is. The moment that made me the most proud of my boy, President Clinton. I love that man.

For the mercy of mankind
Take a moment and think. Think to yourself. Define short essay. 400-500 words right? Maybe even less?
I was reading a syllabus for one of my classes and they said i have to write two short essays this term. I thought, hey no problem. Each essay is to be 1400-1600 words. WHAT THE HECK! That is not short! The only thing short about it is it leaves a short amount of time for my social life. How terrible. Travesty.
I'm also taking a 30 credit class. The syllabus for that said that it will take up 50% of my time. I can't wait. (British Sarcasm).

Internationally Known
This is a preview. This is only a preview. If this were a real entry, you would have been told to go to your nearest animal shelter and protect the puppies.

Today, my friends, today I had the best time ever. This place is so rich with different people, it is unbelievable. On my way to breakfast, I met an Italian. How cool is that? He was straight up Italian. He had style. He had charisma. Man, I wish I was a little bit Italian. I asked him if Italia was as cool as I think it is and he said, “Even better.” During breakfast, I came across a student from Kenya. Kenya! The home of my father! Later in the day, I borrowed a football (or as the Americans say “soccer ball”) and played in the park near my residence. I practiced some moves I had seen and I think I have the hang of it. It must be the European air. Never have I seen a football pitch so incredibly smooth and flat. At Albright, the practice field is full of divots. That really pitches me off.
After I returned the football, I saw some Spanish people in the area getting their room assignments. I saw they had a huge amount of luggage and offered my services. The one who needed some help, his name was Pablo. He kind of looked like Penelope Cruz and Selma Hayek put together, with some masculinity. He was cool. THEN I ate a quick lunch (this was all before lunch!) in my room because we don’t get lunch in our meal plans here.
Lunch had to be quick though because I had an international football match to partake in. I played on the Russian team (while wearing my Italia jersey) against the French. I kept hearing the French guys saying French stuff and it would be, “q’uest q’uest j’ma Italia *spit*” I turned around and asked what they were saying. And they said they didn’t like me because of my shirt. I laughed and said, “But I like futbol!” And they said that was all good, but the shirt had to be rid of. We laughed. The game was amazing. I think we played for an hour? We definitely agreed to do it weekly.
Then I had dinner with a Belgian, a kid from Chicago, and two Englishmen. It was pretty nice. Afterwards, I watched the Simpsons with a couple people and now I’m just stumbling around the internet.
I hate writing entries about what I did during the day, but today was definitely interesting.

Near, Far, Wherever you Are
So. Today I touched down on Aberdeen. This week (beginning since Monday until now) has been the most fast forwarded week of my life. Monday I left for England and arrived Tuesday morning. Wednesday I went down to London for an important meeting. Thursday I awoke early to get ready to spend a (basically) entire day in downtown London with my cousin. We went to the Museum of Natural History. And then Friday, today, I awoke at 4:30 AM to get ready to go to the airport for a flight at 8:10 to Aberdeen. I flew out with my granddad. And let me tell you, British Security (B.S. for short) is seriously stupid.
For example, everybody is still only allowed one piece of hand luggage that is no wider than a notebook. My hand luggage was basically a huge bookbag that had my laptop and some peripherals in it. The line to go through security was HUGE. While you waited, Brits would be walking up and down checking to see if your hand luggage would be appropriate. They saw me, well, a lady who couldn't speak English saw me, and said, "Excuse sir, your bag too big. Please check size in box." That meant I had to stuff it into a box to check the size. It was too big. So, after quite a display of bickering between me, her, my granddad, and a second Brit worker, everything became under control. What'd we do? We got one of the infamous plastic bags (the clear ones plastered over CNN) and put my granddad's small carry on in there with some of my small things and laptop. Then the size was perfectly fine. After we had gone through security, we put everything back in my bookbag. What a bunch of garbage.
Plus, I got my picture taken for some terrorist identification thing. The guy said it was so I don't get confused from being international and domestic. That was a load of bollocks.
How many terrorists have they thwarted with this whole 'one small piece' idea? I'm guessing slim to none. Maybe if they just did a bang up job then such a need wouldn't be necessary. I'm paying here to fly, I'm not paying to be in discomfort. If I want to be in discomfort, I'll go yell at a pregnant woman for taking up too much space.
Other than that, we got in to Aberdeen just fine. The campus is absolutely gorgeous. It is immensely huge as well. My dorm is clear across campus and on top of a pretty steep hill. My calves will be amazing when I come home.
The people are incredibly knowledgeable about the area (know which bus to take to where) and are super helpful.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to love this place.

When You're A Clown
Man, I missed Albright.
So I visited yesterday.
And it made me happy.
Albright is a place where the doors to your friends' hearts never close.
