Sometimes I Run, Sometimes I Hide
Recognize the title? Yes, they are lyrics from a Britney Spears song. I think it was about playing hide and seek or something.
Summer vacation has started. Finals are over. I never understood finals. They seem so pointless because, well, I am pretty certain that I have forgotten everything. Well, not everything. I usually remember things that should not be in my head. For example, my political science teacher was talking about T tests and he said they started when a guy in a brewery had two huge vats and would fill them with beer and somehow called it a t-test. I don't know what a t test is used for, but i know where its from. Ireland. Maybe if he taught us random facts and sprinkled in education, I'd catch up on the education? But not before the sprinkles. I love me some ice cream. I don't get why sprinkles are called jimmies. Because Jimmie is a nickname for James. And James is a person. Not a sprinkle. Maybe because you can find a James within every race? And when you have multi-colored sprinkles, they should be called Jimmies? I don't know any brown people named Jimmie.
thats me during finals
Oh, during finals week, I had the opportunity to sit down with my fellow bloggers at a lunch thing and we had good times. We also had good food. It was pretty cool because all the guys and Kelly Cross sat on one side (We drafted Kelly) and all the girls sat on the other. And Big Boehm and Mr. Greg were the heads of table. That was fun. Bloggers, we must do that more often.
Anyways, here's a life lesson for all you future collegers. The worst part about packing to go home is unpacking. Packing to go home usually takes a day or two of hectic putting everything togetherness and once you get home, that stuff sits around forever! Well, I shall leave you with a hearty leaving.
Don't forget to floss

My Heart is SOOOOO Vein
so.
it is may.
where oh where did you come from?! AND WHY?! april showers bring may flowers. may flowers bring immigrants. but the immigrants are on strike. i always thought that labor unions went on strike, never thought a whole branch of people could just say 'yo, let's stop.' Then again, you can't spell American without Rican. its obvious we need the immigrants to take the jobs nobody wants. or they could stay in their own countries because, not before long, all our jobs are going to be exported to their country soon enough most likely probably.
in other news, MTVu came to our campus. That was pretty cool, even though I hate MTV. i hate very few things, and MTV is one of them. Here are a list of things I hate:
Moldy Strawberries
Octopusses (who needs 8 arms?)
Politically Conservative Women (they don't make any sense cuz i thought women wanted to be progressive in this country)
Sam White, he knows why
oh and MTV
Why do I dislike MTV so much? i feel that music and video are two COMPLETELY different things. music is for your ear. video is for your eye. BIGGGGG difference. Lewis Black said it best that if you were listening to a song and imagined a music video in your head and then you saw the video for it on MTV and it was the same thing you imagined, then there is something severely wrong with you.
sure, some music videos are cool, but most are utter stupidity. I love hip hop/ some rap music but most their videos show scantily clad women just slowly movin in front of the cammy cam. i love women. i love music. but do i necessarily wanna see women IN my music? have you ever seen Pink Floyd's The Wall? Superb movie. I love Pink Floyd. I love crazy movies. And THAT was a good blend. If you're gonna make a video with women just bein in front of the camera, don't make a video unless that girl is coming over to my house. What does she want? She wants nothing. And that's what I'm going to give her.
Other than that, the concert was pretty cool. I only stayed until HelloGoodbye left. I had to go downtown to judge a battle of the bands thing. All the bands were INSANELY awesome. The points on the judges sheets between first and fifth place were sooooo close its ridiculous. but we had fun.
and now, we're in greek week. monday was bingo, and i won hostess cupcakes and a bag of hershey kisses. I yelled 'BA BA BA BINGO' cuz 'BINGO' is boring to say. tuesday was Wes from MTV's the real world last season. I don't like Wes much at all. He's like Oliver Twist meets the Incredible Hulk. We always get the guys from The Real World, never the women. We need the women. They'd be so much more funnerererer. Wednesday was Greek God/Goddess. My big was our fraternity's Greek God Nominee. He whooped so much cream up there it was ridiculous. butttttt, to the dismay of many females and us, he didn't win :-(. But, to me, he's my Greek God and always has been. He can seriously do anything. He can make a fire from chocolate and a soda can. And aluminum foil too, i think. Ah, i shall miss him when he graduates. But he lives like 30 minutes from my home, but i'll be in Scotland next year. Well, I better get back to work.
Later on mannequins.
