Actual Entry, fo real
Greetings, fellow citizens, I have decided to write an actual entry about Albright College.
The first week of this second semester has become the third term I have been in school this year, which some fourth year students cannot attest to, and if they can, then i plead the fifth.
Well, spring semester is well underway. It is sooooooo cool though. I have five classes but everything is spread out and I made a schedule for myself and everything. Walking around campus, I have seen lots of groups of touring students, it's quite a sight to see! I wish I had come as a high school senior to check the campus out, but I had no idea what college was about. I chose Albright based on the brochures. The brochures are nothing compared to what Albright actually is. Albright is like 100 times better.
The brochures don't tell you how cool the people are, how friendly everybody is, everything you learn in class. The cool part about what I have learnt is that the teachers did not give it to me silver platter style. They basically just opened up my mind and I kind of taught myself. Its a great experience and I totally recommend you hitting it up.

The Life and times of a bale of hay
What exactly is time? Time is merely a concept that much of the world has given constraints to in order to feel like man has some control over time. However, if thought of in the right manner, then time is nonexistent, essentially. We are constantly moving in some direction and as this motion occurs, everything just blurs by. Everything that happened from a millisecond ago and beyond (i.e. the past) can be seen as never having existed because there could very well be no trace of it. And the future is just as bad. The future has no definite image. Its there, but is it? Can anybody really say, "We shall meet next year" when there are no guarantees of such a meeting. What if time just fell apart? Cuz time is just another dimension. And dimensions can diminish just as easily as governments, which are another concept.
Anyways, here's somet thoughts to dwell on:
you know what the press sounds like? depress. and thats what the press is. depressing. is the news pressing? damn right its pressing, its DEpressing. stupid news.
i tried to overdose on zoloft, but after the first two, i felt better.
dont smile in driver's license pictures cuz when you exchange info after a car accident then it looks like you're just happy go lucky when the driver looks at your picture. or when a copper looks at it while ticketing you, he/she'd be like 'this person sucks' and BAM more of a fine.
a man was killed after being pushed in front of a truck that was carrying cellophane. Police are searching for the pusher and look forward to wrapping the case up and sealing the guilty behind bars.
hospitals dont have casual walk-in doors. its just emergency room or ambulance arrival. weird.
remember how Rome had allll those crucifixes lined up along the road? well, have you ever noticed how the electric lines along the road resemble crucifixes most times? interesting, isnt it?
speaking of silly, the president of the united negro college fund is white.
we're so poor, my dad has to keep the heat so low that i told him itd be hotter if we turned the air conditioning on.
There is an activities fair this thursday in the campus center. 3-7. hit it.
Albright rules, by the way, in case you didn't know. And now that you know, I find it surprising because you made it to the end of an entry! sweet! Listen to my radio show Wednesday 4-6 on WXAC 91.3 FM or call in at 610 9217557 or if you're on campus just pick up your campusphone and hit the 7557. you hafta do it because i just told you. and if you don't, you'll just feel bad. And i don't want you to feel bad. so call.

Happy Anniversary
So it turns out today is Albright's 150th anniversary of existence or something. And there was a party in the Campus Center Main Lounge from 12 to 1:30. I don't understand why a party would only last an hour and a half. Nonetheless, I walked in because the flyers said free stuff and what not. But upon my arrival, I was completely taken in shock because I felt I had arrived at a cocktail party with all these, pardon my french, old people. I didn't know if ALbright was turning 150 or if these people were. Everybody just wearing suits and jowly faces. All the students were off to the side. And there was supposed to be cake but it was like fancy cake. Not the cool kind like with the confetti and the icing and the happy birthday written on it. Man, what a boring birthday party. Well, come to think of it, maybe it was a reenactment of society back in Jacob Albright's day.
In other noteworthy news, interim is the coolest thing ever. Personally, I think it would be an excellent idea if we had classes like interim throughout every semester. As in, every class was only 3-4 weeks or whatever and we would only have one class (maybe two if you wanted) per triweek cycle. that way, there would not be as much of a burden upon people because the real world is not like what we are going through currently. Multitasking can be quite detrimental. Also, we get fridays off as well :-) and that is pretty sweet. PLUS the class gets to basically live with each other for the few weeks and therefore you become closer with the competition.
I wonder if the President reads this. These are some great ideas that would work on a larger scale if they already work during the interim. If Albright is such a different way of thinking, why don't we make it so?
