whoa-october?
heyy everyone!! I hope your weekends are going FABULOUSLY! (is that a word?) oh well, i can make that up-its a beautiful sunday morning-my FAVORITE DAY, lol, and this weekend has just been GREAT so far. this entire week actually!!
its so funny how the most DIFFICULT weeks are often the weeks that go the BEST! I mean, yes, this week was a CRAZy tough week-with about four tests and papers and projects-I definitally had my work cut out for me. oh, not to mention the 30ish meetings i had to go to. lol, okay, maybe not THAT many, but it sure felt like it. but yea, i mean, its amazing how the Lord works when you dont think that you have any time. He's incredible.
tuesday was an AWESOME day-it was sooo beautiful out, and my boyfriend did a SURPRISE VISIT! i LOVE those things!! so yes, we went to a local park and sat on a blanket and talked while we watched the sunset. and then, we went out for CHINESE! i know, how romantic, right? lol. it was totally fun thought.
oh wednesday was INCREDIBLE! we had ACF as usual, and the group was just GREAT! we heard a great word and everyone was totally inspired-some awesome, awesome, God-centered things happened to me that night. :) And overall, the group is going SO well-we've got so many different bible studies, worship groups, concert-going, totally enthusiastic things going on. I LOVE IT.
hmm..Friday. oh friday. classes, ya know, the usual. i tutored at the elementary school across the street, which was fun. i'm a 4th grade tutor. but yes, friday. some friends and i went to this event called "friday night fire"-and BOY WAS IT AMAZING. it was so great, we went with a group of Albright students from ACF-there was about 10 or so of us, and man, we FELT THE HOLY SPIRIT WITH US IN THAT ROOM! THE LORD IS SOOO AMAZING. He's on fire for this city, folks-and yes, Reading is feeling it.. it was an incredible opportunity. :)
and SATURDAY...it was amazing. one of my best friends and i went to see MY FAVORITE ATHLETE IN THE WHOLE WORLD SPEAK ABOUT HIS TESTIMONY!!!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT?? so yes, BRIAN DAWKINS was speaking at a local church and we drove down to see him. AHH IT WAS SOOO COOL! oh, of course, that was after i had an amazing NAIL APPOINTMENT with three of my best girlfriends here. and then after brian dawkins, a bunch of us sat down to play our FAVORITE game-WHONOO!?!?! lol, ahhh we're so crazy. i love it.
so yes, I'm about to dig into the word, looking forward to another great week-and FALL BREAK!! lol. so, ill be talking to you kids LATER! love you all-comments are always welcomed!! :)
