on the verge of february
so, it'll be february in about 15 minutes. I just love how i do these random blogs. school has been going great. i love my classes so far (thats because work has been minimal..hah), no, but i honestly love the classes, and its nice to be getting back into the swing of things again. having my friends around, going to bible study, getting to the gym-i love it all.
what im REALLY excited about (and all you students checking out Albright should be too) is the new fitness and wellness center that albright is planning to construct for january 07. in some odd way i managed to get on the comittee with this, and MAN OH MAN do i get excited just thinking about it! the new facility is offering albright students, faculty, and community members SO MANY athletic, fitness, and health opportunities-its crazy-from aerobics classes to a new fitness center-to emotional support classrooms to spiritual growth areas, there is so much this building can offer. ill tell ya, i think that is one of the coolest things about albright-as a student, you have the opportunity to truly make a difference in the school. we may not have the BEST facilities here, but that just means that there is SOO MUCH room for improvement and involvement. ill promise you, by the time I leave Albright College, there'll be little that this girl didn't try to improve for other students.
well, the gym calls at 7am tomorrow morning-ill blog again soon!

back in school!
heyyyy everyone!! well, i have to say, yesterday was finally move in day for the spring semester..and i am soooo glad!!! it was so great moving back in..i love my friends here so much. as soon as i pulled in, a dozen of them ran out of the dorm and helped me carry everything up to my room in one trip! it was amazing!! :) last night was so much fun, we all just hung out, caught up, talked..it was great. and today, well..today is the first day of classes..
i just got back from my 9am history class-i have prof. pankratz, one of the "legendary" teachers here at albright. apparently, you CANT go to albright and not take one of his classes. right now, im taking "us social history"-its a 300 level course apparently and even though im only a freshman, im brave enough to take it..heh. it seems like SOO much fun though! really interesting and everything..oh yea, and i bought my books this morning..not too bad..only 180 or so, it didnt put TOO much of a dent into my account. :) heh, ahhhh yea, it feels GREAT to be back! well, ive gotta plan out a few things before psychology..hope everyone else's day is going great!!

6 MORE DAYS!
HEYYY EVERYONE!! :)
Oh geeze, I suppose winter break has gotten the best of me with this blogging thing..sorry that I haven't kept up since the end of the semester! Well, it's Monday, January 16th and it seems EVERYONE is back in school except for us. and..maybe you will think this is a little weird...but I'm ready to go back to school! So are ALL of my albright friends..we miss each other so much! So..fortunately, only 6 more days!
I have to admit though, break HAS been wonderful. It has been the first time that I have had a true BREAK..no work at all. do you know how AMAZING that is? aaanddd, the fact that we get over a month off is definintally a HUGE added bonus too. I've been able to work at my two jobs at home, spend lots of time with family, and catch up with all of my high school friends. I went to Canada-that was SOOO FUN..and, since I missed my college friends SO much, a group of us even took a trip up to NYC for a few days to visit my roommate! It really has been great....but I'm not kidding, I am ready to go back and see my friends and be at Albright again. I'm really excited to start my second semester..there will be a lot going on..soriorities are rushing..POPs are being trained..Ambassadors are applying..and I'm (of course) interested in EVERYTHING! :) Ohhh I'm so excited just thinking about it. Well, I've gotta run-tomorrow is my mom's birthday-but we're celebrating today..mmmm maggiano's!! have a great day everyone, and God Bless.
