What a day!

Hey hey heyyyy everyone..well, it's definitally 12:05am on Thursday morning, and I just have to say, today has been AWESOME! Sometimes you just can't describe what it is, but heck, it was HUMP DAY today, and as the week is on the down slope, its looking up for me. :)

Classes were cool today, no big trouble in any of them, just the normal schedule. Today a friend from my bile study group here took me to a local Christian bookstore, where I bought a bible and a book. Then, lol, we did some hip-hop ministry to the city of Reading, driving through blaring a stereo blasting Christian hip-hop rhymes. That was quite fun. (It really was, actually.) The afternoon was sweet too..I had my first Honors Club meeting-VP baby, yeaaa...which went good because it was a dinner meeting, and I was definitally feeling those veggies tonight. Oh, plus they had frozen yogurt-always a PLUS here at Albright, so that just made my day! After my meeting, I had to go to my catering job-which turned out to be fun, just more than I realized I was in for. I had to do a "black and white event," which is like this big formal event that usually the president or someone important is at-(ie. mess up and ur screwed), haaa..and I had to seriously wear this shirt that was 2xxL..it was pretty crazy, I think I could have fit 2 of me in there, no lie. But, it was a good experience. Afterwards, I had ACF (Albright Christian Fellowship), and as always, ended my Wednesday night with a bang through fellowship, study, and prayer. Actually-I lied-my night didn't end there, because I still had a paper to write (yea, religion class), but I'm all finished that now, and ready to go to bed.
See, I told you I would break the one a day thing. But it's okay-I'm back on track. I probably won't be back tomorrow though-my boyfriend is taking me out somewhere to Philadelphia for the evening. I'm pretty excited..and yes, like a good college girl, I've made sure to get all my work done ahead of time. College rules, you just gotta make sure you're organized. :) :) Well, I'm gonna hit the sack, it's been a long one, and I want to get up early to hit the gym-I'll write later.
:) Faith and Love, Melissa

yikes..the time?!

Heyy everyone..man, it is SO hard to make entries on this thing! I've started this new idea that I'm gonna try and put on one new entry a night...this'll probably last for a day, but we can try it out.

So, it was a rainy Monday, and I'll tell ya, almost everyone on Albright Campus seemed to be having a less than awesome day. Maybe it was the rebound of an awesome weekend. So, yea, I went to this awesome music thing on Friday night, these guys like-no joke-played drums on TRASHCANS and it was amazing. Saturday I witnessed an amazing Albright win against the Kings and ended the night with a cool play by the "Domino players" (Albright's acting crew). Then, some friends and I went back to my hometown, Collegeville, PA and rested up for the EAGLES GAME!!! That was AWESOME baby, because I'm a MAD-CRAZY eagles fan. Anyway, we got home around 8pm last night, and I was sooo tired, so bed was my best friend. Anyway, this morning, I got an early start, headed to the gym and started my day. English was a little rough, we got grades back from a writing assignment (ehh..rewrite), and we got grades back for our first psychology exam (muuch better). The rest of the day was kinda BLAH...we had a women's bible study which got my spirits up..and we had a GOOOOD dinner (BREAKFAST BAR BABY)..lol...the rest of the evening was pretty chill, which was nice, got some homework done, and got ahead on some assignments (you gotta do that in college). Anyyway, now it's about 11:30pm and I'm still up-about time I start packing it in...got a big day tomorrow-I start my first catering job at Albright! Thanks for checking in guys, hope to talk to you laaaattterrr!!!

There's So Much to Say..

Wow, so, I finally got around to writing in this thing. Truly, I was excited about doing it, I still am, it's just college life is OVERWHELMING! Seriously, you get caught up in everything that you have to do for tomorrow classes or next week's test, and all of a sudden you forget about the little things...

Okay, so, where do I start with this thing? First off, I want to apologize for starting it so late. It's already September 22nd, and I am just putting in my first entry. You wouldn't blame me though, if you knew everything that is going on around here at Albright. Hopefully I'll get a chance to catch all you up. There really is some interesting stuff...

So, can I ask you, why the heck are you reading this thing in the first place? lol, let me see if I can guess a few reasons...

A) You were exploring the college website, maybe because you're interested in the school, maybe because you're a student bored to death out of your mind and you happened to stumble upon this nice little innovative part of our website...

or B) You're one of my friends and I've told you about the site and you're reading this thinking I'm a totally dork, getting ready to make a ridiculous comment at the end of it.

maybe there are other reasons too...you could be a complete stranger in Oklahoma reading this for all I know.

Either way, some how you have stumbled across my ramblings...welcome to Albright. :)

By the way, if you are that student that is looking to find out more information about going to Albright as a possible school next year, the Freshman blogs are a cool way of getting a student's perspective..I did the same thing last year, and look, now I'm writing one! But seriously, if you ever have ANY QUESTIONS at all, and are looking for an honest answer, feel free to email me at mmj091@albright.edu or, if you're one of those really cool highschoolers with facebook already, look me up and drop a message.

Let me tell you a little about myself before I really get rolling into the college life...

My name is Melissa Marie Jaworski-it probably isn't safe giving away this personal information?! (The things I do for my school) Anyway, I'm from Schwenksville, PA, graduated from Perkiomen Valley High School (yea, whoop whoop represent), and seriously, am just LOVING the college life. All around I'm a pretty energetic girl, I'm a hard worker, but love having fun and spending time with friends. (cute, hunh?) I've got a great family back at home, a boyfriend who loves me (even cuter), and a great group of friends. Most important, I live my life for the my Lord Father and savior, whom I owe all my life and salvation to.

Yikes..just as I get across the serious stuff, we're going to lunch. Well, haha, this makes for an interesting first blog, comment if you want-this is kinda fun and addicting..much more later!

grace and love,
MJ
