Boy, I have been a busy bee lately! Here are my stories :o)
Last Thursday I went down to Philadelphia with some of the admissions counselors to attend a dinner at the Pyramid Club for prospective students. It was amazing! We were on the 52nd floor which provided an awesome view of the city, especially at night. That was definatley a lot of fun...good food too.
Saturday, I took a trip with the school down to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC. I took my mommy with me because I didn't know anyone going on the trip! It was a great time, well as great as learning about genocide can be. It was very educational, and I'm really glad I got to go. It was only $2!!
Sunday was POPs training, which was FANTASTIC!! POPs are peer orientation people who run a freshman orientation program for next year's freshman, obviously. The theme of the day was being on a safari, so I dressed up as a tour guide with a sweet hat and everything! It was pretty cool. We learned songs and such, and let me tell you, I am pumped for next August!!
Sunday night I hosted a basketball recruit, and she was a pretty awesome girl! She seems amazingly athletic, and was super sweet, so hopefully we will be able to have her come to Albright! Whooo Albright!
This week I have been preparing for a big test in sociology. I'm NOT looking forward to it. But all I can do is study...so that's what I plan to do! Wish me luck!
So, the weekly weather: It was a beautiful, warm, sunny 76 degrees on Monday, and currently it is 43 degrees with a chance of snow showers Saturday. I thought it was spring time!!
I took pictures to try and get a new profile pic for this blog, because let me tell ya, it's needed! Now, where could this picture be....perhaps I should look into it.
I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend <3
