Hawaii :-)
Here at Albright they offer classes you can take in January for 3 weeks which will count for a CREDIT class. Well, back in Sept/Oct, I received a letter in my mail explaining to me about this "January Interim" class I could take in Hawaii. I was really interested, so I decided to go to the meeting and find out more about it. Well, the name of the class is called Protecting Endangered Species: Field Study on Marine Mammals ---Hawaii, I will be studying the "biology and behavior of the whales" in Maui Hawaii. I was nervous on asking my PARENTS if I could go...so I decided to go home one weekend and represent my case to them in a very professional way...(hehe) And now… I'm going to Maui Hawaii with Albright College. If I never came to Albright I would have never had this experience brought to me. This school is so wonderful because they are always offering endless opportunities for students. I am extremely nervous and scared because of the PLANE ride...(some say its about 15 hrs... I don’t know if that’s true or not but if it is.... I GOING TO NEED SOME HELP). My Mom already started crying and my Dad is cool about it but he won’t be “OK” until I get there safely. I can’t wait to visit Hawaii, but I'm going to miss my family… because I leave January 3, a few days after Christmas and New Years Day. It’s going to be really hard for my family, but I know that God will watch over me and protect me from all hurt, harm and danger. He never left me and I am POSITIVE we won’t leave me when I’m in Hawaii!!!
Hey if anyone else is going or has been…HOLLA at me! I would like to hear from you!
Talk 2 U Later...Greg

An Angel
Last week I went and visited my admission counselor (who got me into this school.) SHOUT OUT EMILY WAGNER!!!! (She’s amazing…) when I first met her she came to my school and told me about Albright and how it's a small school. She told me that all the professors want to help you, and see you succeed. She also told me about all the extracurricular activities I can be involved with, and how BEAUFUL the campus is! …And she was ABSOLUTELY right! I really do love this school, and I’m so proud that GOD sent me an angel!!! Emily Wagner lead me and guided me to a place where now I call home!!! To Emily Wagner Thank You SO MUCH!!! You are tuely an ANGEL to me!

Good Week
Hello Everyone,
Wow, What a great year I’m having so far. COLLEGE LIFE IS GREAT!
Choir is going GREAT! I can’t wait to the concert because my family is coming up! The songs we are singing for the winter concert is a little difficult but I will get it. The choir sounds BEAUITFUL! I look forward to every rehearsal on Monday and Wednesday. I have truly learned a lot being in the choir; better at sight-reading, I’m becoming a stronger singer and also more confidants when I sing.
Around Monday I was sitting at my computer desk picking classes for next semester. I wasn’t really sure what to pick! So, I did some research on some classes that might be interesting to me and then I went to my advisor and asked ‘Am I taking the right classes for next semester?’ When I was picking my classes I wanted a teacher that would CHALLENGE me because I noticed I work better that way…☺
I think I’m in Love! In the cafeteria they make “Salisbury Steak” (WOW!), it is so good. I called my mom after dinner and told her what I had, Three Salisbury Steaks, white rice smothered with brown gravy, French cut strings beans, two homemade dinner rolls (on the side), and with a BIG glass of ORANGE SODA! (Sigh) Wow! IT WAS SO GOOD!!! (I still love my BLTs, but Salisbury Steak is awesome!)
I went to the weight room this week and I noticed that I had no CLUE what I was doing!!!! I needed some assistance so I watched my friend and whatever he did I followed and did the same. I also read and followed the directions on the equipment, but I still felt like I was doing something wrong!!! ☺
Well, I had a very good week. Talk to you Later!!!
