It's just me...

Hello Everyone!
My name is Gregory Smith and I am a freshman at Albright. My major is Music Business and Communications. Sorry for being so late, but this is my first entry. And I’m so excited to take you on a journey of my life as being a freshman!

Where should I start…Well, first of all ever since my interview I been in love with Albright. The campus is BEAUTIFUL and everyone is so friendly. For the first four days we had orientation, which was really cool because I met so many cool people. Classes began on Monday and I was nervous because I didn’t know what to expect. I met all my professors and I introduced myself to all my classmates, everyone was really nice, and welcoming!

Living with a roommate is hard! My roommate is extremely funny, BUT (a dramatic pause…hehe I’m just playing!) He’s awesome! It was very difficult at first, but I got use to it after awhile. My dorm room is really nice! (THANKS DAD & MOM you’re the Best!) One thing I like about this campus is the food. (Jake’s Place is the best!!! BLT Sandwich on wheat bread with mustard, ketchup and no tomatoes, YES!!!)

I’m not participating in any sports this semester, but I do sing in the choir. Speaking of the choir, I have a concert October 8 at 7:30 in the Chapel. It took me forever to audition for the choir because I had to build up my confidence. I was so afraid to sing for the choir director but I got over it. At our first rehearsal I was shocked because I actually heard some good tenors. (lol H.H.S.)
I will have to say; the hardest thing being a freshman is being away from home. Everyday I miss my parents, my house and my CAR!!! (Sigh) But I keep reminding myself "I'm here for a purpose, my education!"

I can’t complain so far, school has been great and I’m enjoying every moment of it. Shout Out…Tim, R&B, Carlens, Andrees, Alex, Erica and Chris!

PS… Becon Lettuce and Toast
