The New Science Building

On Saturday the design for the new science building was finally approved. This is great news for all students and faculty in science. I'm a chemistry major and i am very excited about the new science building. It is going to be a 4-story and about 41,000 sq.ft addition. This is going to make the new building a total of about 78,000 sq. ft. The addition is going to be built first and then the old building is going to be completely renovated. This project is going to take about 2 years. This is very exciting i can't wait to move into the new building. This project will make the science building a brand new state of the art building for scientific experimentation. Until next time, this is Daniel Fonseca signing off.

BINGO!

Last night my girlfriend and I went to BINGO at the Campus Center. AC2 hosted the event. Albright's Bingo is nothing like what most people think ahen they hear the word, "bingo". Bingo is open to the whole campus and is always a lot of fun. The prizes are often very good. AC2 usually gets smaller items such as food, drinks, and $10 gift cards for Walmart. Often the bigger prizes include cameras, radios, chairs, etc. It is a lot of fun, we never miss a Bingo night. Until next time, this is Daniel Fonseca signing off.

Jim Karol-The Mentalist

Tonight my girlfriend and I went to see Jim Karol. He appeared on shows like the Ellen show and the Jay Leno show. He was also in the movie Jackass Two. He performed magic tricks and some mental tricks. Some of the tricks were amazing. One of the tricks that he got a knife and cut his arm. The knife was fake but the crowd's reaction was hilarious. The show was very comedic and fun and I really enjoyed. It was a very fun experience. Until next time, this is Daniel Fonseca signing off.

New Found Glory Concert

Last night my girlfriend and i went to the New Found Glory concert. The band played old and new songs and the crowd was wild. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. We did as well. Casino Night

My girlfriend and i went to Casino Night here at Albright. Everyone recieved $300 in fake money. The games available were Black Jack, Poker, Roulette, and Seven. At the end of the event, everyone turned in their chips for tickets to win prizes. We played Black Jack and Roulette and lost all of our money. Thank God it wasn't REAL money! Virginia Tech Massacre

Today is a day that touched every college student in the world. Today a student killed 33 people including himself at Virgina Tech, for reasons the world may never know. Helpless, innocent people's blood was spilled all because of someone unstable mind. Students all around the world are now aware of what can happen. Students are now asking questions about security on their own campuses. Many students now fear life on campuses. Many college president's are sending out letters to inform the students of security on their campuses. Today was certainly a tragic day that we will all remember. We keep the families and friends of those who died in the massacre in our thoughts and prayers. Until next time, this is Daniel Fonseca signing off.

RIP Grandpa Nascimento

Today was a tough day in my family. My grandfather, my mother's father, died. Armando Do Nascimento Pereira was the only grandfather i ever knew because my dad's father died when he was 8. My grandfather had diabetes and he was 85 years old when he died. I was very close to him and i am very sad that i couldn't go to the funeral because i had to go to Portugal and i needed to return to Albright. Its hard to lose someone you love so much, but my girlfriend, Naticia, is helping me get through it. She lost her grandmother 3 years ago so she knows how it feels. My mother suffered the most from his death my parents are on their way to Portugal. When they come back, my grandmother will be with them. Damian the Hypnotist

Last night I went with my girlfriend to see "Damian the Hypnotist". Damian asked for 20 volunteers to come on stage and be hypnotized. After they were hypnotized he made them do crazy things. He made them think they were hot, cold, and even on the Jerry Springer. He also made a freshman think that he was Britney Spears and that he was at a concert and that he had to perform the song "Oops I Did It Again". Another student was William Hung and he could only speak Chinese and he had to rap in Chinese. It was a very funny show and i would recommend shows like this show for future expirence events. Winter Ball

Yesterday my girlfriend and I went to the Winter Ball at the Wyndham Hotel in downtown Reading. It was a fun night of eating, drinking (soda), dancing, and having a good time overall. It was a fun expirence and hosting dancing is something that Albright does alot. They are very enjoyable and my girlfriend and I always look foward to them. !!!! It's Snowing !!!!

Not only was yesterday Valentine's day it also snowed and we had off from school. I got to spend the whole day with my amazing girlfriend. We got to sleep in and relax from school, which is always nice. We also exchanged Valentine's day presents. We later went to the dollar store and boast these flotation device in the shape of animals to go sledding down the hill outside of Crowell, my girlfriend's dorm. We had fun sledding down the hill, making snow angels, and etc. It was a great day. No school and it was snowing. And on top of it all it was Valentine's day. Brian Brushwood and his Bizzarre Magic Show

Last night my girlfriend and I went to the Magic show. This was no regular magic show. It was very bizzarre. There was flame throwing, tongue cutting, Mr. Happy Pants, and much much more. The climax of the evening was Mr. Happy Pants, a little Satanic puppet that is trying to take over the world by control humans mind. It was an overall good show. Happy Birthday To Me

At 6:10 PM on January 11, 1988 I was born to my wonderful parents Jose and Maria Fonseca. Thursday was my 19th birthday. It was a fun day. Me and my cousin Cathy and her Boyfriend Tiago spent the day together. We went to eat and then we saw a movie. Today was my birthday party when my family and friends came over. It was a fun night of eating and talking. The only bad part was when the Eagles lost to the Saints. Overall it was a good birthday. Hoipefully the Eagles will win the Superbowl next year for me in order to make up for the loss. One can only hope. But the bad thing is that my girlfriend was unable to make my birthday because she lives 3 hours away from me. I can't wait too see her and all of my friends at Albright. Happy New Year Everyone. I hope that you all a fun New Year's Eve. I went to my friend Ana Rita's house for new years. My friends Ana Rita, Ana, Steve, and Reuben were there we have a very fun evening. When the clock struck twelve everyone went nuts and there was so much noise. I didn't get home till 4:45 AM. Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! I spent this Christmas with my cousins. My family and I drove to New Jersey to my cousin's house. W had the traditional Portuguese Christmas dinner (codfish, cabbage and potatoes). We then played some games and then later we opened our presents. We had alot of fun with our cousins. Overall its been a good vacation but i miss my girlfriend so so so much, and i also miss Albright alot too. Untill next time, this is Daniel Fonseca signing off.
