Albright's Back!
In reading all the student blogs I quickly find out that things don't change. I can remember college breaks and the anticipation to return to school and see all my friends. Now as an employee the attitude hasn't changed a bit. I can't wait for the students to get back either!
We tell families that visit over the summer and during other breaks that you will see campus, but you won't see 'Albright' until the students come back. Buildings, equipment and even employees are nice, but the energy of this place comes from the students. It is great to see them walking, talking, even yelling around campus. I enjoy catching up with our students the same way I did when I was returning to school.
This week I've talked to students that were studying in the Dominican Republic and Hawaii in January, others that worked, took a class on campus, and just decided to not do anything. That is a lot of doing nothing, but what ever you need to get ready for the spring semester is fine with me.
Some students will tell you that Albright is their home away from home. Some will even tell you it is their home. For me it is like a second home. I have family and friends here that I enjoy seeing every day. That is what makes coming to work every day so enjoyable.
So if you haven't visited, Albright is back and ready to host you!
