Real Life delays decisions
Reality check this week. My wife's father went to the emergency room Monday night with chest pains. At 84 years old, these things are not unexpected, but always nerve racking. He appears to be ok, but it did keep me out of the office yesterday. 'Real life' effects everyone, sometimes we forget this when we get wrapped up in our job, an activity, or an event. Life and death in reality is much more important than games, SATs, and dry cleaning (things that I am concerned about today). Yesterday was another day to take a step back and realize these things. Very similar to my day in Towanda. My father-in-law will thankfully be coming home today or tomorrow and will enjoy the holidays with his granddaughter and grandson and the rest of the family.
I was also out of the office on Monday for meetings, so I am two days behind on my application reads. So if your application is complete, I am a little behind. But, today's priority is applications! So I hope to catch up and get the decisions out. And neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow will prevent that today!
