GEAC Minutes
January 26, 2009

Attendance: Karen Campbell, Dan Falabella, Fouad Kalouche, Irene Langran, Melissa Nicolas, Kennon Rice, Joe Thomas

After consultation with the EPC chair, the committee agreed to release the draft document to the EPC and FEC by February 18. This will be the first distribution of the document. The committee agreed that the format for the components of the draft proposal would follow the freshman seminar description. Andrea Chapdelaine and Joe Thomas will write the introductory section for the proposal.

The committee agreed to combine the section on connections in order to cover all three areas in a single section of the draft proposal.

The freshman seminar proposals are due on February 2. Fouad Kalouche noted that he thought there was a need to extend the deadline to February 16. Irene Langran agreed to ask Al Cacicedo to discuss this with the Curriculum Committee. Al will also alert the committee to the incoming proposals.
