The psychology department offers comprehensive
programs in psychology and psychobiology. In addition, possibilities
for a variety of combined majors, for example, including with: elementary
education, special education, Spanish, criminology, philosophy,
and political science, exist. All psychology graduates have completed
independent research, learned computer technology skills, and received
personalized mentoring by faculty members. Junior and senior level
independent research, fieldwork internships, service learning, and
seminars are highly valued components of the psychology undergraduate
experience. Students work closely with their advisers to select
courses that complement their major interests and career goals.
