Elementary Italian I
The fundamental vocabulary and grammar necessary for speaking,
understanding, and reading simple Italian are presented this
year. An oral approach is used, and students are encouraged
to speak Italian from the first day of class. |

A continuation of 101.
Prerequisite: ITA 101.

Intermediate Italian I
Emphasis on reading, speaking, and comprehending the language.
Grammar review, verb drills, the study of idiomatic expressions,
and the study of Italian life and customs form the main body
of the work.
Prerequisites: ITA 102, or two years of secondary
school Italian or permission
