CENTER FOR THE ARTS
Home of the music, theatre, and art programs this structure is a work of art itself. The building, outdoor sculpture, plaza and landscape are a fusion of architecture and art. It is home to the Wachovia Theatre (which is about to go through a $250,000 renovation), five soundproof rehearsal rooms, Roop Hall (acoustically correct performance area large enough to accommodate a small orchestra), art studios, the Freedman Gallery, printmaking and darkroom facilities.
